This qualification is supported by the Security Industry Authority (SIA), which regulates the private security industry.
  • SIA Security Guard licence holders must undergo one day of top-up training. Top Up training will include Terror Threat Awareness and Minimising Personal Risk for Security Officers. The SIA changes also require licence holders to have an Emergency First Aid Certificate.
